This chainring is specifically designed to fit 96 Asymmetric BCD XTR9000/9020 Cranksets. It features Wolf Tooth's patented Drop-Stop asymmetrical tooth design, which offers excellent wear life, great mud clearance, and maximum chain retention. It's only compatible with Shimano XTR 9000 or 9020 cranksets. Works well with 1x9, 1x10, 1x11, and 1x12 drivetrains. Compatible with all 10-, 11-, and 12-speed chains, except Shimano 12-speed chains. For Shimano 12-speed chains, you need Wolf Tooth's Shimano 12-speed specific chainrings. If you're using a 9-speed drivetrain, use a 10-speed chain for better chain retention. Using this chainring is easy. First, make sure your bike has a Shimano XTR 9000 or 9020 crankset as it's only compatible with these. As for maintenance, keep it clean by washing it regularly with mild soap and water. After cleaning, dry it thoroughly to prevent rust, especially since it's made of aluminum.
