10-Speed Powerlock Link

This is a replacement Powerlock link for SRAM 10-speed chains that doesn't require tools. SRAM suggests using a chain tool to break their 10-speed chain by pushing out a pin, rather than breaking it at the powerlock link. When reconnecting the chain, you must use this 10-speed Powerlock link. It's only compatible with SRAM PC-1070, PC-1090, and PC-1090R chains.

Using this 10-speed SRAM Powerlock link is easy. First, when you need to break your SRAM 10-speed chain, use a chain tool to push out a pin as SRAM recommends. Don't try to break the chain at the powerlock link. After you've made the necessary adjustments to the chain, when it's time to reconnect, simply use this powerlock link. Remember, it only works with SRAM PC-1070, PC-1090, and PC-1090R chains, so make sure your chain is one of these types. For maintenance, keep it clean and dry. If it gets dirty, you can gently clean it with a soft cloth. This will help it last longer and keep your chain working smoothly.
