Product Description

The Campagnolo EKAR Crankset is a top - notch 1x13 - speed crank designed specifically for gravel riding and racing. It's incredibly lightweight and efficient, making it a great choice for cyclists who want to perform at their best. The two - piece crank is built with a tough 630 - grade steel alloy crank axle connected to a lightweight carbon fiber spider and unidirectional carbon fiber arm. It must be used with a Campagnolo Pro - Tech bottom bracket. The chainring has a narrow - wide tooth design, ensuring efficient power transfer and maximum chain security. You can easily access the external crank bearings. And here's a great feature: you can easily swap out the alloy rings without having to disassemble the whole crankset. With a narrow Q - factor of 145.5mm, it offers a comfortable riding experience. The color is carbon, and it has a single 40 - tooth chainring. The crank length is 170mm, and it weighs only 615 grams. It doesn't come with a bottom bracket, and the pedal spindle is 9/16'. The spindle interface type is Campagnolo Ultra - Torque, and the chainring BCD is 123.

Using the Campagnolo EKAR Crankset is easy. First, make sure you have a Campagnolo Pro - Tech bottom bracket as this crankset must be used with it. Install the crankset onto your bike following the standard procedures. When riding, you'll notice the smooth power transfer thanks to the narrow - wide tooth design of the chainring. If you want to change the alloy rings, you don't need to take the whole crankset apart, just do it easily. As for maintenance, keep the crankset clean by wiping it down after each ride. Check the external crank bearings regularly to ensure they're in good condition. Avoid using harsh chemicals on the carbon parts as it might damage them. If you notice any unusual noises or issues during riding, it's a good idea to have it checked by a professional bike mechanic.
