Product Description

The Campagnolo EKAR GT crankset is a top - notch choice for gravel, road, and cyclocross cycling. It comes in a sleek black color and features two aluminum crank arms paired with Ultra - Torque semi - axles made of AISI 630 steel. This combination ensures both strength and light weight, just like the rest of the EKAR GT groupset. The ProTechâ„¢ technology uses a single sturdy screw to join the two semi - axles inside the bottom bracket. The oversize stainless - steel bearing race on the crank fitted to the semi - axle offers smooth operation, high resistance, and easy access for inspection and maintenance without cup disassembly. The premium 7075 aluminum chainrings are lightweight, resistant, and easily interchangeable. You can simply unscrew them from the four crank arms without taking apart the whole crankset. With an optimized tooth design, it provides efficient power transmission and reliable chain performance. The four symmetrically - arranged arms have a 104 mm bolt circle diameter for optimum load distribution. It has a 47.5mm chainline and a 151mm Q - factor. Technical specs include 42 - tooth chainrings, single chain - retaining, 13 drivetrain speeds, 123mm chainring BCD, 172.5mm crank length, and a Campagnolo Ultra - Torque spindle interface.

Using the Campagnolo EKAR GT crankset is straightforward. First, make sure it's properly installed on your bike. The chainrings are easy to change. Just unscrew them from the four arms of the crank when you need a different tooth count. When riding, you'll notice how smoothly the crankset operates, thanks to the oversize stainless - steel bearing race. As for maintenance, regularly check the connection between the semi - axles inside the bottom bracket. You can access it without having to dismantle the cups. If you find any signs of wear on the chainrings or crank arms, replace them promptly. Keep the crankset clean by wiping it down after each ride, especially if you've been cycling in muddy or wet conditions. Also, ensure that the pedals are tightened securely to the pedal spindle, which is 9/16". This crankset is designed for gravel, road, and cyclocross, so choose the appropriate riding style according to your preference and the terrain.
