This RWS rear through - axle is a great fit for select 2014 - 2016 Giant mountain frames and 2014+ mountain frames. It comes in two sizes. The 12 x 142mm option features a 1.5mm thread pitch and is for use with the 12x142mm rear through - axle dropout kit (27108). The 5 x 135mm option is to be used with the 5x135mm rear through - axle dropout kit (27332).
Using this RWS rear through - axle is easy. First, make sure you choose the right size for your bike frame. If you have a 2014 - 2016 Giant mountain frame, the 12 x 142mm size might be your pick, and it should be used with the 27108 dropout kit. For 2014+ mountain frames, the 5 x 135mm size works well with the 27332 dropout kit. When installing, gently insert the axle into the frame and secure it properly.
