Product Description

The Portland Design Works Bindle Seatpost Rack in sleek black is a must - have for cyclists. Whether you're embarking on multi - day cycling adventures or just commuting across town, this seatpost - mounted rack is your perfect gear carrier. Crafted from lightweight aluminum alloy, it can be quickly attached to your bike's seatpost in seconds using a 5mm Allen key. This not only prevents side - to - side sway while riding but also avoids rear wheel rub for those with short seat posts. Heavy - duty compression straps loop through the saddle rails. They carry the weight and secure your load by pressing it against the bottom of the saddle. The rack base has a hinge connected to the seatpost clamp, allowing it to rotate vertically up to the saddle. Please note, the compression sack is not included. It fits seatposts with diameters from 22 to 31.6mm. The rack deck, measuring 5.25 x 13.5 inches (133 x 343mm), can easily accommodate 13 - 16l drybags. It can carry loads up to 12 lbs (5.34kgs).

Using your Portland Design Works Bindle Seatpost Rack is easy. First, grab a 5mm Allen key and attach the rack to your bike's seatpost. Make sure it fits well, as this helps prevent swaying when you're riding. Next, loop the heavy - duty compression straps through the saddle rails. Place your gear on the rack and use the straps to secure the load against the bottom of the saddle. This way, your stuff stays in place. Remember, the compression sack isn't included, so you'll need to provide your own if you want to use one. The rack fits seatposts between 22mm and 31.6mm in diameter, so check your bike's seatpost size before installation. When it comes to maintenance, after each ride, give the rack a quick wipe - down to remove dirt and debris. You can use a mild soap and water if it's really dirty. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could damage the aluminum. If you notice any loose parts, tighten them with the appropriate tools. With proper use and care, your seatpost rack will serve you well for many rides to come.
