Our A318 Stem is crafted from 7075 domestically sourced aluminum. It's machined, anodized, and assembled in North Carolina. It features an 180 - degree clamp wrap secured with high - strength 316 stainless steel M5 bolts. With a stack height of 40mm, it weighs between 127 - 136g including the stainless steel bolts. Note that there may be color variations during anodization compared to the colors on our site. Technical specs include a 1 - 1/8' steerer diameter, 31.8mm bar diameter, a rise of +/- 6 deg, a length of 40mm, and a lovely pink color.

Using this A318 stem is easy. First, make sure your bike's steerer tube has the right diameter of 1 - 1/8'. Then, attach the stem to the steerer tube and use the high - strength 316 stainless steel M5 bolts to secure it. For the handlebar, ensure it has a 31.8mm diameter and fit it into the stem. When it comes to tightening, do it evenly to avoid any misalignment. As for maintenance, regularly check the bolts for tightness to ensure safety. Also, keep it clean. You can use a mild soap and water to clean the stem's surface. Remember, due to the anodization process, there might be slight color differences between batches. If you notice any damage or excessive wear, it's time to replace the stem.
