Comp Switch Stem (31.8) 84/6dx100 Matte

This stem is a great addition to your bike. It can hide internally routed cables, wires, and hydraulic lines from the handlebar to the bike frame with a straight 1.5” head tube and a tapered 1-1/8 - 1.5” fork. It's specially made to work with the Ritchey Switch headset (Part# RC3411-14). The extra-wide 51mm C220 bar clamp design provides a secure fit. Constructed from 6061 alloy, it comes with black stainless steel bolts and a matching top cap. Technical specs include a 1-1/8' steerer diameter, 31.8mm bar diameter, +/-6 degree rise, 100mm length, and a matte black color.

Using this stem is easy. First, make sure your bike has a straight 1.5” head tube and a tapered 1 - 1/8 - 1.5” fork. Attach the stem to the steerer tube and then connect it to the handlebar using the provided black stainless - steel bolts. It's designed to work with the Ritchey Switch headset (Part# RC3411 - 14), so make sure you have that installed as well. When it comes to maintenance, keep it clean by wiping it down regularly with a soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they may damage the matte finish. Check the bolts periodically to ensure they are tightened properly to prevent any loosening during rides. Store it in a dry place when not in use to avoid rusting.
