The Contact bike stem is ingeniously engineered to deliver maximum stiffness while keeping the weight as low as possible. Its new 1-1/4 inch OverDrive 2 clamp design offers confident and precise handling, ensuring all-day comfort so you can ride farther and faster. This stem features a 3D forged 6061 aluminum alloy body with an oversize box cross-section, an oversized 46mm wide 6061 alloy faceplate, a 1-1/8' steerer adapter, and steel hardware.

Using this bike stem is easy. First, make sure your bike is suitable for a 31.8mm stem. Attach the stem to the steerer tube of your bike's fork using the included 1-1/8' steerer adapter if needed. Then, connect the handlebars to the faceplate of the stem. Tighten all the bolts properly, but don't over - tighten them. When riding, you'll notice the great stiffness and comfort it provides. As for maintenance, regularly check the bolts for any looseness. Clean the stem with a mild soap and water solution to keep it looking good. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could damage the alloy body. Store your bike in a dry place to prevent rust on the steel hardware.
