Adjust the compression and rebound damping according to your riding style and the terrain. For downhill, you might want more compression damping. When riding, the ButterCups will reduce hand and arm fatigue, so you can enjoy a longer and more comfortable ride. As for maintenance, regularly check the SKF wiper seals for any signs of wear. Replace them if they're damaged to keep the fork performing well. Also, change the Maxima Plush damping fluid and Dynamic Suspension Lube as recommended in the manual.
