Troy Brosnan aimed to craft a 'unicorn' tire with the Dissector. Its center tread design enables easy speed - carrying, while the edge blocks ensure world - class cornering. The center knobs feature heavy ramping to reduce drag and sharp, flat backs for strong braking. Small sipes add flexibility to the knobs, increasing their contact area during braking and aiding the transition to edge blocks when cornering. Channels along the center knobs and generous lug spacing help clear debris. This tire is recommended as a rear tire, and its Wide Trail (WT) casing is perfect for 30 - 35mm inner rim widths. Specs include a black color, intended for mountain biking. It has an ISO diameter of 622 / road / 29', an ISO width of 61 mm, a labeled size of 29 x 2.4, a folding tire bead, and is a tubeless ready clincher. It weighs 861, has a TPI of 60, and a PSI of 50.

Using this Dissector tire is straightforward. First, make sure your rim has an inner width between 30 - 35mm as it's optimized for this range. Mount the tire onto the rim and if you're using it tubeless, add a suitable sealant. For the best performance, keep the tire pressure at 50 PSI. When riding, you'll notice how it easily maintains speed on straight paths and gives you excellent control while cornering. As for maintenance, regularly check the tire for any debris stuck between the lugs and remove it. Inspect the tread for wear and tear, especially after long rides on rough terrains. If you spot any cuts or significant wear, it might be time to replace the tire. Also, store the tire in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent damage to the rubber.
