Product Description

The Maxxis Dissector Tire is a top - notch mountain bike tire, sized 29 x 2.4. It's tubeless folding and comes in a sleek black color with Dual EXO protection. Troy Brosnan aimed to create a 'unicorn tire' with this Dissector. The center tread design helps the tire carry speed effortlessly, while the edge blocks offer world - class cornering. The center knobs are ramped to reduce drag, and their sharp flat edges at the back ensure strong braking traction. Small sipes on the knobs increase flexion, expanding the surface area during braking and facilitating the transition to edge blocks when cornering. Channels along the center knobs and proper spacing between lugs effectively clear debris. It's highly recommended as a rear tire. Tech specs include black color, sidewall flat protection, an ISO diameter of 622 / Road / 29', an ISO width of 61 mm, 60 TPI, folding tire bead, 29' tire diameter, intended for mountain use, and it's a tubeless ready clincher.

Using this Maxxis Dissector Tire is straightforward. First, make sure your bike is suitable for a 29 x 2.4 tire. If you're setting it up as a rear tire as recommended, just follow the standard tire - mounting process for tubeless ready clinchers. When riding, you'll notice how easily it maintains speed and how well it corners. For braking, the tire provides great traction, so you can rely on it to stop your bike safely. As for maintenance, regularly check the tire for any debris stuck in the lugs. Use a brush or your fingers to remove it. Also, keep an eye on the tire pressure. A proper pressure will ensure the best performance and reduce the risk of flats. If you notice any signs of wear on the sidewalls or the tread, it might be time to replace the tire.
