Product Description

The Campagnolo EKAR GT crankset is a top - notch component designed for gravel, road, and cyclocross bikes. It comes in a sleek black finish and features two aluminum crank arms. These are paired with Ultra - Torque semi - axles made of AISI 630 steel, offering a perfect balance of strength and light weight. Thanks to the Hirth ProTech™ technology on the semi - axles, they're strong, efficient, and self - aligning. The chainrings, crafted from premium 7075 aluminum, are not only lightweight and resistant but also easily interchangeable. You can simply unscrew them from the four symmetrically arranged arms of the crank without dismantling the whole crankset. The tooth design is optimized for efficient power transmission and maximum chain reliability. The four arms have a 104 mm bolt circle diameter for optimum load distribution. With a 47.5mm chainline and a 151mm Q - factor, this crankset is engineered for high - performance cycling. The ProTech™ technology uses a single sturdy screw to join the two semi - axles inside the bottom bracket, and the oversize stainless steel bearing race on the crank fitted onto the semi - axle ensures maximum smoothness and resistance. It's also easy to access for inspection and maintenance without removing the cups. Using your Campagnolo EKAR GT crankset is a breeze. First, make sure it's properly installed on your bike according to the manufacturer's instructions. When you're out cycling, the optimized tooth design of the chainring will provide smooth and efficient power transmission, so you can focus on enjoying your ride. As for maintenance, regularly check the chainrings for wear. Since they're easily interchangeable, if you notice significant wear, you can unscrew the old ones and replace them with new ones without having to take apart the whole crankset. Also, keep an eye on the ProTech™ connection inside the bottom bracket. If you feel any roughness or notice unusual noises, it might be time to inspect the single sturdy screw and the oversize stainless steel bearing race. You can access these parts for inspection and maintenance without removing the cups. When it comes to cleaning, use a mild bike cleaner and a soft brush to gently clean the crank arms and chainrings. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the aluminum or the steel components. Store your bike in a dry place to prevent rust and corrosion. And always follow the general safety guidelines for cycling, like wearing a helmet and using proper cycling gear.
