Product Description

The Campagnolo EKAR GT Crankset in sleek black is a high - performance component for gravel, road, and cyclocross bikes. It features two aluminum crank arms paired with Ultra - Torque semi - axles made of AISI 630 steel, offering a perfect blend of strength and light weight. The Hirth ProTechâ„¢ technology in the semi - axles ensures strong, efficient, and self - aligning performance. The premium 7075 aluminum chainrings are lightweight, resistant, and easily interchangeable, simply unscrew them from the four symmetrically arranged arms of the crank without dismantling the crankset. With an optimized tooth design, it provides efficient power transmission and maximum chain reliability. The four - arm design has a 104 mm bolt circle diameter for optimum load distribution. It has a 47.5mm chainline and a 151mm Q - factor. It's a 13 - speed crankset with a 123mm BCD and a Campagnolo Ultra - Torque spindle interface, and no bottom bracket is included. The pedal spindle is 9/16'.

Using your Campagnolo EKAR GT Crankset is easy. Just install it on your bike following the standard procedures for a crankset with a Campagnolo Ultra - Torque spindle interface. When you want to change the chainrings, simply unscrew them from the four arms of the crank without having to take apart the whole crankset. As for maintenance, regularly check the bearing race on the crank fitted onto the semi - axle. It's easy to access for inspection and you don't need to dismantle the cups. Keep the chainrings clean and lubricate the moving parts to ensure smooth operation. Also, make sure the single sturdy screw that joins the two semi - axles inside the bottom bracket is tightened properly. When riding on different terrains like gravel, road, or cyclocross, adjust your riding style according to the conditions, but this crankset is designed to handle all these environments well.
