Product Description
Whether you want to escape on gravel back roads away from traffic and crowds or lead your favorite gravel race, the new Diverge is your best bet. It's the fastest, most capable, and possibly the most fun bike we've ever built. It offers a quick and lively ride when you pedal hard, yet remains stable and confidence - inspiring on rough terrain. With Future Shock 2.0, all - new gravel geometry, internal storage, and class - leading tire clearance, the Diverge showcases all we've learned in over 40 years of road, gravel, and dirt riding. It's rewriting the rules in the gravel bike category, letting you plan exciting new rides. It's truly the ultimate bike for getaways.
Tire clearance is key to a bike's performance. The new Diverge has a huge 47mm tire clearance with 700c wheels and 2.1” with 650b wheels. Thanks to a solid carbon beam on the drive - side chain stay, we've achieved this clearance without a fragile dropped chain stay or longer chain stays.
Future Shock 2.0 is a game - changer for gravel riders. With 20mm of axial compliance and a hydraulic damper, it suspends you, not the bike. This keeps you in control, allows you to maintain power and avoid brakes on rough roads and in loose gravel, while keeping your hands, arms, and neck fresh. And since the damper is adjustable, it's suitable for both rough and smooth roads.
We've completely rethought gravel geometry. The new Diverge has our most progressive geometry for a drop - bar bike. It's stable in the dirt yet responsive on the road. We've increased the frame's reach, used a slacker head tube, and a longer offset fork. This gives you a planted feeling in the dirt, and shorter stems keep the cockpit lively. The low BB adds stability and can work with 650b wheels.
The Diverge comes with plenty of rack mounts, including on the fork and top tube. So, no matter how far or how long your trip, you can carry what you need.
The Diverge Comp has a FACT 9r carbon frame. It's incredibly capable and as light as a race bike. Whether it's a local dirt climb or a huge back - country peak, the Diverge will get you there faster.
Using the Diverge is a breeze. Just hop on and start pedaling! For different terrains, adjust the damper of the Future Shock 2.0 to suit your needs. On rough dirt roads and loose gravel, you can keep the damper a bit softer to enhance comfort and control. On smooth pavements, make it stiffer for a more efficient ride.
When loading up for a long - distance trip, use the fork and top tube rack mounts to secure your gear. Make sure the load is evenly distributed to maintain the bike's balance.
As for maintenance, regularly check the tire pressure. The recommended pressure will depend on your riding style and the terrain. Keep the chain clean and lubricated to ensure smooth shifting and pedaling. Also, check the brakes periodically to make sure they're in good working condition. If you notice any unusual noises or issues, it's a good idea to take the bike to a professional mechanic for a check - up.
