Product Description

Crank Brothers Mallet Trail Pedals in sleek black are here for your next big adventure. Whether you're on a full-suspension bike at the mountain top or a rigid one deep in the woods, it's your call to define the trail. These pedals fit right in the Crank Brothers clip-in range, between the Candy and Mallet E pedals. They come with a long 57mm q-factor spindle for more shoe clearance, stability at high speeds, and added traction with two adjustable pins on each side. The 4-sided entry and superior mud shedding of the eggbeater system are great for tough terrains. Features include an optimized platform size for trail/gravel riding, integrated traction pad technology for a better shoe/pedal interface, a durable hex alloy endcap, and customizable float and release angle. TECH SPECS: Color - Black/Black; Pedal Type - Dual Sided Clipless with Platform; Weight - 344; Pedal Spindle - 9/16'; Pedal Body Material - Aluminum; Spindle Material - Chromoly; Cleat Interface - Crank Brothers Brass.

Using these pedals is easy. First, make sure your shoes are compatible with the Crank Brothers Brass cleat interface. Clip your shoes in and out through the 4-sided entry. You can adjust the two pins on each side for better grip according to your needs. When riding, the long spindle provides stability and speed. For maintenance, clean the pedals regularly to keep the mud shedding system working well. After a muddy ride, use a brush to remove dirt. Check the hex alloy endcap for any signs of damage. Also, make sure to adjust the float and release angle to your comfort level. Be careful not to overtighten the adjustable pins as it might damage the pedal body.
