Our A35 stem is crafted from 7075 aluminum sourced domestically. It's machined, anodized, and assembled in North Carolina. It features an 180 - degree clamp wrap secured by high - strength 316 stainless steel M5 bolts. The 32mm model has a stack height of 42mm, while the 40mm and 50mm models have a 40mm stack height. Note that there may be color variations during anodization from batch to batch compared to the colors on our site. It weighs between 128 - 150g including the stainless steel bolts. You can customize the stem's look with colored faceplates using XN718* - 7191. Using your A35 stem is straightforward. First, make sure the steerer tube of your bike matches the 1 - 1/8' diameter of the stem. Attach the stem to the steerer tube and secure it tightly with the high - strength 316 stainless steel M5 bolts. When attaching the handlebar, ensure it fits properly into the 35.0mm bar diameter slot. You can adjust the rise to +/-7 degrees according to your riding preference. Regarding the colored faceplates, simply use them to change the look of your stem as you like. As for maintenance, keep the stem clean by wiping it with a soft cloth regularly. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the anodized finish. Be aware that there might be color differences in the anodization between batches, so don't be alarmed if the color doesn't exactly match what you saw on the website.
