The Ritchey Comp Trail Stem is our first stem crafted for today's 5 - 6” travel trail bikes with wide bars. It's not just a bulked - up version of our other stems. We've redesigned the clamp to fit a wider range of riser bar bends. This stem offers a significant boost in stiffness and strength compared to competitors' designs. The extra - wide bar clamp takes stiffness to new heights, fits most riser bars, and gives you confident control on the trail. It uses a 3D Net Shape Forging Process, which makes the material grain follow the product shape for better structural strength.

Using the Ritchey Comp Trail Stem is easy. First, make sure your bike is a 5 - 6” travel trail bike with wide bars. Then, attach the stem to your bike's steering column using the 35mm clamp. Adjust it to the 45mm rise that suits your riding style. When riding, you'll notice the extra stiffness and strength, which gives you better control. For maintenance, regularly check the clamp for tightness. If it gets dirty, clean it with a mild soap and water. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they might damage the stem's finish. Also, store it in a dry place when not in use to prevent rust.
